I would like to highly commend Social Worker Charlene Burgess she has outlined a person who cares for everyone that she comes in contact with. Please give her a merit raise and a extra 15 minute break. This is a really small CBOC. Please add more money in their budget to further increase their care for Veterans on Kauai to the next higher level.
What a pleasant place to go for medical care. I moved from Kona and thought their VA clinic was top-notch. They might be tied with the Lihue VA clinic in having wonderful, hard-working professionals ready with smiles and information to make all my visits good to go. Heard all the VA horror stories years ago. Just started going to my local CA clinic about 2 years ago and these folks are the best. Super caring and efficient. Can’t ask for more.
