I can't stop getting the Lau Lau. It's my favorite menu item. This is the hole in the wall restaurant you loved in Hawaii that you walked into on vacation. Just make sure you get there close to 11:00 cuz it gets busy.
I ordered two meals and the Adobo was horrible, two many small bone no flavor. The hamburger steak was OK.

Brunch out on the Fourth of July before heading into the day. If we hadn’t been brought here by locals or word of mouth, we never would have found this hidden gem. One family, two shops: Kauai Family Restaurant and Cakes of Paradise (sells coffee and delicious desserts - smashed macaroon was a hit). One Big Loco Moco and Kalua Pork were “shared” with the Loco Moco winning out; both the gravy and egg yoke meandering through the rice made it a “one more bite and then you can have it” dish.
