Dr Chung of Kauai Eye Institute is amazing. Words cannot explain how amazing this Dr and place is. My cataract surgery at KVMH was a huge success. Dr Chung and staff at both facilities exhibited compassion, empathy, efficacy, and was very courteous towards me and their patients. Dr Chung’s generosity of compassion and empathy was a grace from God. Thank you Dr Chung. Rate 10 out 10 or more! This company is an amazing asset to the community and for anyone looking for an ophthalmologist/optometrist on Kauai.
I have nothing but good things to say about Kauai Eye Institute. Dr. Yoo and her staff are professional, gentle and friendly. My recent cataract surgery was successful and stress free. I highly recommend Dr. Yoo.

I had a wonder experience with Dr Janie Yoo at Kauai Eye Institute in Lihue, HI. The whole staff has been so respectful and courteous. My Surgery was yesterday day before my 72nd Birthday. Done at Kauai Veterans Memorial hospital. They also were accommodating. It took no time. Before I knew it I was on my way home. I had the light adjustable lens put in . I had the best experience with everyone from the doctor to did the surgery to the front desk . Dr. Yoo and Bri took care of me with extra care and answered all my questions even tho I called few times a day with questions. My eye is doing awesome, thanks so much!
