We went the for lunch and had the sandwich and side special. (13.99 each) One person had a lemonade.The food was good and the service was great but, by the time a credit card service charge fee(which we didn't know about), tax, and a tip was added, it was a, $44 bill. Not a cheap lunch.😐
Such a great place and a special thank you to the manager Drew. My car was broken down at 5:45am so went inside to wait for the shop to open and get breakfast. It was a cold morning, my phone was almost dead and had no charger. Drew welcomed me in, poured some hot coffee, gave me his cell phone charger to use and Mia the server took my order. I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time at Katz’s in Shenandoah, and I will never be back. The food was disappointing across the board, especially for the prices. On top of that, service was painfully slow from start to finish. Our waitress seemed completely lost — we had to repeat ourselves multiple times, and even basic things took forever.
