I was treated with so much love..My experience was nothing short of amazing! I had my first child at Katz and it definitely left a bad impression on me. They didn’t clean my bathroom, the nurse that worked nights always forgot to bring me my pain meds and this was after a c section.Even though it was 10 years ago I was apprehensive to have my second child here but I’m so happy I did. Run far away from this hospital! They don’t have enough professional staff. You’re stuck with medical students during birth. If you have private insurance and a good doctor, you might have a good experience. For everyone else, they tell you a doctor will be with you during birth but all you get is a resident that is learning on the job. The resident makes a mess of the whole thing and then gets the doctor to try and fix it. Medical notes on your file will not reflect the mess they made. This hospital took WONDERFUL care of my mother for many years during various stays. All hospitals have their issues, but I will say when one came up it was handled efficiently. This place is clean and the doctors were very thorough. Their cardiology team is top notch. Dr. Srinivas and his team Jillian Matthews and Christopher Brooks were angels to us.
