A REAL Deli – If you're from up north (e.g. Cleveland, New York, Philly) then you know that there are certain foods that can only be found there, FOR REAL!!! Thank you Katz for bringing the real Jewish rye and kosher meat to the South. There is nothing like it!!!!!
Very Bad Hospitality – This deli denied my aunt public restrooms to wash her hands. The left the facility to wash her hands somewhere else and when she came back to order they told her she could order her food to go. WTF!!!! She walked out humiliated and hurt. I can't believe this type of narrow-minded behavior still exists in 2010......smh.
Thank You Jesus!!! – This place is the real deal. Excellent reuben, whitefish salad to die for, and delicious black and whites. Definately a little piece of New York in Charlotte.
OK, but not the Katz in NYC – Service was great, but the food just OK. Ask for extra meat on your sandwich. Mine was too thin and too dry. Punched that ticket.
Best in town! – There are only 2 REAL Deli's in Charlotte and this is by far the best of the two. Their sandwiches are the "real thing" and it's one of the few places in town where I can get "real" lox. The pickles and cole slaw served at your table is good and be sure to ask for half sour pickles. Close your eyes and you'll swear you're in NYC. If you're there when the right crowd it there ....it will sound like NYC also. Evidently, I must not be the only one that thinks this is the real deal!
