I am blown away by the work of Katy Cook. She has a way of making you feel extremely comfortable from the moment you meet her. I tend to be a very passive person but wanted the photos to be perfect. She took control in the very best way. Organizing who needed to be in the photos, where they were taken, and managing the timeline throughout the day. Katy was an absolute delight to work with. Katy is incredibly friendly and it felt like we had known each other for years despite only having talked a few times before our wedding day. She captured our wedding in beautiful photos and included some surprisingly thoughtful shots. My husband and I will forever be grateful to Katy and we could not recommend her enough to other couples who are looking to book their wedding photographer. Her work is worth every penny and more!
Katy is the BEST!! She was one of the first vendors I booked for my October 2025 wedding and I am so glad I did. She photographed my engagement photos, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. Katy was amazing!!! I truly don’t think I could love my photos that I’ve seen thus far even any more than I do. Katy was amazing to work with and just made everything so smooth, for us wedding photos were a top priority as these would be one of the only ways to remember our day so we wanted someone that would be able to capture our day perfectly. Katy executed that and more. If you’re looking for someone especially as an out of state bride for your wedding photos I strongly recommend going to Katy!!
I cannot say enough good things about Katy and the photos that she and her team produce. Her work is truly outstanding, and I recommend her whether you’re in the Asheville area or further afield. You won’t be disappointed in what she provides both in terms of photos and just general support.
