I've learned a lot about the importance of not settling from working with this doctor. You must find a doctor that cares about you. You cannot make them care. They will only do the minimum and you don't know what you don't know. The time you waste can hurt you going forward. So, don't let doctors who do not care play around in your medical records. Dr. Katie Gutenberg is amazing—very knowledgeable, understanding, and truly attentive. She takes her time explaining everything and never makes you feel rushed. After struggling for over a year to find an endocrinologist who would actually listen to me, I am so grateful I found her. I highly recommend her.
Love dealing with Dr Katie. She has been my Endo Doc since my Pituitary surgery a few years ago. Since then and a few more instances, needing her attention, she has dealt with them in a friendly,professional way. That attitude is reflected in her staff, who I deal with, thru their Portal.
She’s my absolute favorite doctor. She is personal and attentive. The staff is also very helpful and gets back to me via the portal quickly. I love this office.
GUTTENBERG IS OUTSTANDING ENDOCRINOLOGY DOCTOR!! AS A RETIRED PHARMACIST/PRECEPTOR OF PHARMACY, I would definitely want her to handle my family member's endocrinological disorders. She took a lot of time in a visit and explained to my loved one, my brother, and I together the importance of his medications and the roles each medication and lab work, plays toward preserving his life.
