As the crow flies… By not initially hiring the Spindler Law Office Team, I only delayed my divorce by over three months. I attempted to file myself w/ zero experience & Oakland county was little help guiding me along. My case failed to be presented because I had no idea what I was doing. Don’t take all the positive reviews so seriously, Kathryn does everything she can to remove the negative ones without addressing the issue. Concerns: unethical billing practices Modifying my review to keep it brief, as Kathryn is unwilling to resolve the issue so I will be reporting this firm to the state bar. Stay away from this law firm. They will bill you extra if you mention a mental health diagnosis (yes I have in writing that this is what Kathryn says I was over billed for, this is an ethical concern in itself. I paid them $4,000 and they did not progress my case, in fact they just made it more complicated. They quoted me an additional $10,000 to finish my case, so I fired them and represented myself.
