Dr. Harrod is an incredible midwife. She has helped me during 5 of my pregnancies now and I won't go to another hospital for care because it simply will not measure up. She is very much on the patients side when it comes to their desires and will fight for what you want. If you are on the fence, don't be. You would be lucky to get in as she's always booked. Grab her as your OB if you can.
Kate ignored my concerns for over two years before I received an accurate diagnosis. Both she and her nurse belittled me and told me that I was not strong enough to "handle the side effects of birth control." I overhead them ridicule me after I pushed for more testing than they were going to give me. My missed diagnosis was a tumor that had been growing for presumably 3-4 years. I would not recommend her to anyone. Be careful what you read on the Aurora website, as they mysteriously forgot to post my review there.
So helpful and empathetic as a caregiver, can not recommend enough!
Absolutely LOVE having her as my midwife! She is so personable and knowledgeable!
