Dr. Parker treated me with kindness and compassion and effectively communicated with me about a plan of care. Her procedural skills are excellent, and I was very satisfied with her care during my procedure.
I had the privilege of being her patient for the removal of a lipoma from my head. Prior to the surgery she explained everything to me in layman’s terms which better enabled me to understand what was going to happen. After she explained everything I was very comfortable and she proceeded with the surgery. During the procedure I chose to be awake and did so while she operated meticulously on removing the large mass. The surgery was over with rather quickly. It was painless and a total success. I can't say enough about what an excellent doctor Dr Kathryn Parker is. My GP sent me to her on Tuesday She diagnosed my problem and prescribed medicine. On Wednesday my pain was significantly worse and on Thursday she removed my gallbladder. I was amazed and very thankful she was able to arrange everything including contacting my other doctors so quickly. I found Dr Parker to be smart, skilled and extremely caring. I am sorry to post as negative review. I am only doing this so it may help someone who may be in a situation facing surgery. If Dr. Parker (or any doctor) is telling you that you need surgery, please get a second opinion. I don't think she is conservative enough, ESPECIALLY when patients are young and have the rest of their life to deal with scar tissue and risks of more surgeries.
