Dr. Laurie was absolutely amazing. Bedside personality was so warm and compassionate. Very knowledgeable. Prompt. Would recommend a million times over.
Clear and detailed explanation. Rare to find such doctors
Dr. Laurie is a God-sent. We met her earlier this year when our son had a low platelet issue. Dr. Laurie was very kind and patiently explained the issue, and things to watch out for. Every time we met her, we went back home reassured that we were in amazing hands. And the support staff at the Valerie Center is the best too! Thank you Dr. Laurie, and thank you Nurse Maribel :)
Dr. Laurie is a wonderful doctor. I had to meet with her virtually, but I have know a lot of doctors over years. I highly recommend her. She is kinda, really listens and can tell she truly cares.
Dr Laurie was called into help my son who developed a rare autoimmune disease that destroyed his platelets. She is WONDERFUL. She kept in touch with all of his other doctors. She never rushed our appointments. She took the time to explain our treatment options in detail. Most importantly, she recognized that his mental illness was of primary importance.
