The good is she is very friendly and empathetic as others have mentioned. She also is competent enough in her surgical skills, thus, the 2 stars. However, she does a very poor job on education or communicating the disease process to patients, which means you get a very limited understanding on how to actually manage your disease. One of the best doctor’s offices I’ve ever been to, if not the very best. Everyone here was extremely polite, professional, and expressed an enormous amount of empathy. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars. The receptionist, the nurse, and the doctor were all outstanding!
My last colonoscopy was July 2018 with follow up needed in five years. I requested to be referred to a new physician. In 2018, I didn't feel like the prior surgeon was attentive to being an effective communicator and wasn't willing to address a couple other issues (related to the colon). I was referred to Dr. Freeman. When I called to schedule the procedure, Jonathan did a great job in setting the appointment and with several follow up calls prior to surgery.
