Kathleen represented me during the upheaval of divorce. During our first phone consultation, she asked some needed questions about income and custody of children. She very quickly was able to determine what I should expect to pay in terms of child support and maintenance. Absolutely do not talk to this horrible woman. She has a disgusting tone no matter how polite you are, continously runs you in circles not answering a single question, instead asking 10+ times "do you have any questions for me?" As you list your questions, she does not answer then asks again and again. Heartless, cold, vile attitude. I felt physically ill trying to communicate with her. Verbally assaults your ears. Kathleen listened to my situation for less than 5 minutes before turning me down. It was disheartening. She didn’t even check for a conflict of interest like other offices do, she just said “I’m a contractor (GAL) and I can’t help you. Best of luck”. If you are in St. Louis County with a family matter, don’t waste your time. She cares more about her “contract” than she does helping the public. I hope things change with her morals.

Recommend if you want someone fair, professional, and thorough. I hired Kathleen to help me on a pretty complicated modification of custody case. She has been both kind and professional during my case. She is very good at explaining the process and in bringing the language down for a non-legal person. Her recommendations and thoroughness gave me an outcome that both parties walked away happy with.
