I wish I could rate 0 stars. Absolutely horrible office and office staff. My gf made an appointment in October 2023. The day before her appointment the office called her and told her that the appointment she made well over a YEAR ago was made “by mistake” and that they had to cancel. Really sounds like “doctor” Hoey is lazy and didn’t want the extra patients. Dr. Kathleen Hoey seems nice. However, it's usually a hassle trying to get in touch with her to go over test results or to get a soon appointment. It frustrating because I have been calling and leaving messages with the front desk for the past TWO days now to go over my test results, and still no call back! Additionally, she's usually booked for weeks or months out which makes it hard to get an appointment.
I give Dr. Hoey 5 starts she is an excellent Doctor ! However, her office staff and the office supervisor Bell are horrific. The office staff charged me my co pay twice after I had showed them the first transaction had been taken out of my bank account. Because their system froze they told me they had to charge me again. Okay fine, they told me to call the office back in 3-5 days if my account was not credited back the second charge. I call back after 7 days and Bell proceeds to give me the BIGGEST attitude. Non responsive .. I left 4 messages starting at 10am with the last call at 5pm to go over my test results. Haven’t heard back yet.office told me she left for the day. Not happy!
I had a visit today where my doctor was Excellent,Dr Hoey, but my experience was marred by an incident with the receptionist, Nicole M. She inappropriately inquired about the reasons for my tests and asked personal questions, a conversation that was not private and could be overheard by others in the lobby. This breach of my privacy felt like a clear violation of HIPAA rights and was highly unprofessional. Such behavior is unacceptable in a medical setting.
