Dr Heffernan is kind and an excellent doctor. 💕
I had to cancel my appointment within 24 hours because I had a stomach flu and they told me they were going to charge me 100 dollars for cancelling. Im not sure in what world punishing a sick person for not spreading their sickness all over a medical facility makes sense- but thats Summit Medical Group for you. Greedy, greedy!
On June 13th I came in for my appointment to get an IUD inserted. I usually see Lynda but was given Dr. Heffernman because of the procedure I was getting done. I had already had both the hormonal iud (kyleena) and copper iud (paragard) in the past and removed them due to wanting to try a different method. After deciding the Copper IUD worked best for me I decided to get it re inserted.
