My girlfriend and I are patients of hers. She's very personable and compassionate. Unlike my previous PCP, she's very easy to talk to and doesn't milk up the visits (He almost had me come on a weekly basis and my insurance company didn't like that). I'd highly recommend her because she listens, assesses, and provides the utmost care.
I recently switched to Dr. Duchak as my PCP after my previous Dr. left Corewell. I immediately felt comfortable in her presence. Dr. Duchak was thorough, asked me about my health history, any current concerns I may have and really listened to me. I asked her several questions and she quickly provided solutions or referrals. I did not feel rushed, which is something I've experienced in healthcare in the past. Dr. Duchak really seems to care about her patients and their well being.
I recently switched from my childhood physician to having none, and right to Dr. Duchak! I have always personally preferred having female physicians so I am glad I finally found one I connect well with! She is a great listener, sweet, compassionate, considerate, and really takes her time with you. She is knowledgeable and intelligent without being condescending or rude. This doctor is clearly for profit and not for patient type of doctor. Sometimes you cant fake a smile or compassion remember that we see it most of the time and everyone whose in the same boat as me RUN.
Excellent doctor! Great bedside manner and very compassionate. She listens to everything you have to say.
