As a woman with PTSD from previous medical gyn experiences, Dr. Connell allowed a young male trainee into my exam. I didn't have the voice to advocate for myself at the time, she should have stepped in and recognized I wasn't the patient to train on- especially since my trauma is male related. I was retraumatized during my visit with her and left with little to no help, just more trauma.

Consider carefully if you are told you need surgery for prolapse. Perhaps there is another option? I had surgery over 2 years ago and have had significant stress incontinence and chronic intermittent pain ever since. I have consulted 3 other OB-GYN physicians regarding this pain. I have been told it was a result of the surgery and there is nothing to be done. More than discouraging. Prior to the surgery I had neither problem

This is one of the worst Doctors I ever deal with 4 times I have seen her she is always 1/12 to 2 hours late. I have to walk out one time waiting 2 hours and she never shows up it was 4:30pm I left. Other times I have to go out to the hallway to find someone make sure they haven’t for got that I’m in the room. Absolute worst experience I have ever had with any doctor. Shamed me for my BMI post surgery when I was complaining about the quality of care and treatment from the clinic post surgery. Had to bring my Aunt with me to the follow up appointment just to witness the lack of professionalism and low level of care. Would never recommend this clinic or Dr Connell to anyone.
