I hate to give this type of review, but after my recent experience with the office, it needs to be done. The office called us about 2 hours before a scheduled appointment this past week with Brandy Centers, which took two months to get, to tell us she would not be available and we had to reschedule. I had been waiting for my appointment to see Dr Katherine Standley for over 2 months. I received a call from her office that I would not be allowed to see Dr Standley because I had seen another neurologist years back for a completely unrelated issue. Their stated reason was it was a "conflict of interest". I have never heard of such a nonsensical reason to keep me on the books WAITING for my appointment only to cancel it the week before said appointment. This is no way to run an office. Shame on you for wasting my time.
Wonderful doctor. Very thorough. Unlike other doctors, she took time to determine the root cause of my migraines and investigated each possible factor. Actually was able to manage my migraines for the first time via preventive interventions.
Dr. Standley is a wonderful neurologist. I have some complex issues that many doctors dismiss. Dr. Standley actually listens and works with me. If you have Chiari Malformation, I highly recommend Dr. Standley. I drive almost an hour to see her. I also switched my mother, who has Alzheimer's, to Dr. Standley. She is very thorough and works hard to help both my mom and me with our neurological problems.
Scheduling department for this office of Neurology is absolutely horrific. Three different urgent matters in the past three years treated as follow up visits scheduled for two to three months later. Had to literally complain to higher ups in order to obtain an immediate appointment. Either staff is poorly trained or they are instructed to act in this manner.
