As another reviewer stated, she was more than willing to see my mother at the same time as me, and would side with her on every issue involving her i guess since it was my mom's insurance covering the appointments. Never would she validate any of my feelings towards my mother, and would go along with my mom's false narrative of my dad being the *real abuser*. Any time i brought up symptoms that didn't fit her diagnoses i was shot down and dismissed with "i've got plenty of experience and that's not what that looks like". If ... read more
Unethical and incompetent. Began seeing me first individually, and then started seeing my wife and me for couples counseling. Not a one-off she encouraged biweekly appointments. The most outrageous and unethical thing was she saw my wife individually while still seeing me. I have an open complaint against this woman on the licensing board of North Carolina documenting all of this.
Talking it out with a professional like Ruby Gordon has helped me. Fortunately, my employer covered it with an Employee Assistance Program. Give her a call if you think you need it.
