I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Barsness and her outstanding medical practice. My son had a major surgery and the care received was exceptional . Came to the office at La Cantera for a surgery consult with Katherine for my son and she was very unintelligent when it comes to umbilical hernias. She downplayed the issue and said that “it’s not incarcerated something else is causing it” and told me but couldn’t tell me what it was or what it could possibly be. She said it wasn’t her issue and that it was a question for a Gastroenterologist. My daughter had a splenectomy almost 5 months ago. She had a lot of anxiety (so did I). Dr Barsness and her staff were so supportive and patient and walked all of us through the procedure and after care. My daughter felt confident and 5 months later she is thriving and a completely different young woman. Thank you Dr. Barsness for being amazing.
