I’ve worked with doctors for 25 years- Dr Younkin is absolutely one of the best. He not only knows his profession as a practicing ob-gyn and as a teacher to residents, but just as important he listens to his patients, he genuinely cares, he took my concerns into consideration and went the extra distance to accommodate my needs and preferences. Here’s all you need to know: He gives you his personal cell phone number and RESPONDS when you text with a question or concern!! Amazing and unheard of!!
I’m appalled and had never experienced this type of unprofessional service in past. It took 10 days after a ski accident for my 10 year old to receive a referral to ortho, after numerous calls everyday. Friday demanding somebody get on this! At 4:58 I received referral! To office across the hall! Today at ortho he received a cast from groin to end of toes for break at growth plate in knee!!ten days of pain, ten days of missed school. Shame on your office staff Dr Batterman!
Had strong opinions with little room for my wife’s thoughts/opinions.
Disappointed that he didn’t condsider my goals for the visit.
I went to Mr. Shoudel with feet pain that worsened toward night, heel pain and bumps in my arches. He told me we could do an MRI but I would still have the bumps, we could do a nerve conduction but I would still have probable tarsel tunnel and to try inserts and shoes. My feet still hurt and I am not sure that Podiatry is even a real medical area. I guess you need a huge swollen toe for anyone to know what is wrong.
My Dr Batterman is wonderful. The nurses are great too. He takes the time to listen & he can relate because he has children. I love the fact that they have a walk in clinic in the morning. I appreciate the fact that I can call & get answers to questions without having to come into the office every time. He's been our pediatrician for the last 16 years & we are now using him for our foster child. We wouldn't use anyone else. We highly recommend him.
