Hello kombuchites! Admittedly I have only had ginger kombucha made by katalyst,(very good) and know little about the company. BUT have brewed many times myself...as mentioned on another review, this is what real deal kombucha looks like. This isn't coca-cola friends, it's a real deal living organism. Do your research!. If they don't return phone calls, that is poor business, another issue entirely!
Lol-ing at these recent reviews about "slime" Welcome to the world of REAL kombucha. They prob got some mother in their batches, which while not the most pleasant feeling, isn't the end of the world. Chill out, this is great, non-saturated-with-sugar kombucha. You'll be fiiiiine!
We also had the same messed up-looking slimy sea creature in our Kombucha. My wife got a little in her mouth and almost puked. She said the consistency was like eating a raw oyster. Not sure what this company got into their drinks but NOTHING on the label says slimy sea creature or anything in them that would create this. UGH!
