We took a float plane from near bar harbor over to the Katahdin mountain and we landed on a remote lake for lunch. What a great pilot and what a great company! Would highly recommend!

We were staying at the Big Moose Inn, cabins & campgrounds. I kept hearing planes taking off and discovered that the Katahdin Air Service was across the street on the lake. I inquired on-line as to what a plane ride would cost and we chose the 30 minutes Baxter State Park and Mt. Katahdin tour for $115 each. We had a great time and flight. It was our first time in a seaplane. Andy, our pilot/tour guide, was great. The flight was the best experience.
