I agree with birdeye. My story mirrors theirs. There is no place for an AFC that does not advocate for a child. Especially when the children are disabled.
Terrible... advised me that kid's father was endangering child - in court sides with abusive father every time. Spends entire time waiting to be called fraternizing with father's council, flattering each other about who looks like they've lost weight, etc. Has never spoken my daughter's name in court nor brought up any concerns. Does no follow up, does not return calls or emails, and seems to care not at all for the child he is appointed to represent. Not sure how he hasn't been disbarred for this behavior.
