I went in tonight into triage for contractions. She was the on call doctor and came into the room seeming very annoyed already. She was very dismissive of me even though this is my 4th baby and acted like she knew my body more. I am having contractions every 2-4 minutes for hours but was told that they are just Braxton Hicks which is false, Braxton Hicks are irregular and go away. Kasper- Megan Kasper delivered my baby and was nothing but cold and uncaring. When I interviewed the clinic, I was told that whoever helped me deliver would be there through labor and delivery. That I would be helped with positioning and pushing like you would expect from an office with midwives. Megan didn't help with any of that. She performed an incredibly painful ECV without mentioning how excruciating the pain would be then left immediately after. If you're looking for warm, attentive, and personalized care during pregnancy, this practice may not be for you. I transferred to this "hand-selected group" in my third trimester to deliver my second child at a hospital closer to home. My first birth with a different midwife group was compassionate and low-intervention. Which I hoped to find something comparable. If I could give a zero I would! She told me I had an ectopic pregnancy and suggested a methotrexate injection. Then had surgery with a new dr after the injection didn’t work and found out in fact after surgery I did not have an ectopic. Her office told me she was very tired and hardly slept one day when I called after being told I had this “ectopic pregnancy”. Doesn’t seem very professional to tell a patient the doctor hasn’t slept. So glad I switched doctors and I definitely would not recommend her. She had too much in her ... read more
