I had a truly spectacular experience with Deane from Kaslo Kayaking, who took me out a delightful half-day tour in late June. He let me set the pace, shared stories of the area, answered my questions, actively listened to me and as an avid kayaker, this was/is one of the best guided tours in Canada. We also did a short hike to Angel Falls and that was such a wonderful addition to the tour. It happened to be only the two of us and Deane mentioned he has/does group tours. Our rental experience with Dean could not have been better! The canoe was fantastic and he provided all the equipment we needed, including lifejackets and other safety gear, and a trolley for getting the canoe to and from the beach with ease. The delivery was super easy and convenient and he was so friendly and lovely to chat with and provided all the information and knowledge for a safe and fun experience. Great team
My mother and I rented paddleboards for a couple hours off of Dean on a very windy day. My ma has some balance issues and because of that Dean actually recommended that we only rented one and that we stick to a little lagoon. Moral of the story, these people were willing to lose money to provide us with a better time and I will happily throw money at them again in the future.
