Unreliable. Never know if restaurant will be opened or be doing takeout. Sometimes they ask you to call later, if you can even get through. Tried today and went straight to voicemail and there is no more room for messages. It's such a shame because the food is quite good and reasonably priced. I had stopped even trying, hadn't called in months and today was their last chance. Have had multiple locals say the same, good food but had to give up due to unreliability.
We love this place , the food is delicious and worth the drive from Nelson and even Fruitvale like us ! You must try the chow mein and the stirfries , amazing. I ordered the wor wonton soup this go around and I should of ordered the small but the dish came in a giant bowl with prawns,chicken,beef,duck,and fresh veggies. Food is priced well, most lunch dishes between $18-21. They serve Western food too but we just LOVE their chinese.
Excellent Chinese food with large portions. We had ginger beef, chicken chow mein and chicken with stir fried vegetables. All were delicious with plenty of meat. The vegetables were fresh and not over cooked. The building is a beautiful wood chalet with great views up the lake and of the surrounding mountains. It was clean and the service was excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a quality meal in a lovely setting.
What a great place to eat. Priced right and portions are huge.
