Before I started seeing Dr. Kashoqa, I have not had the best experiences with other psychiatrists. I saw two psychiatrists before who lacked compassion and bedside manner. I would also feel more depressed after leaving their offices! After these experiences, I believed the notion that psychiatrists, in general, do not care about their patients at all. I visited Dr. Kashoqa a few years ago and was impressed by his manner and his treatment. I recently felt that I required more treatment, and I contacted his office and scheduled an appointment. Two days before my appointment, I received a text to say it was a telehealth appointment, which I had specifically said that I did not want. I called the office and was told that they were not scheduling in office appointments at that time, and I should call back in May to reschedule. Very easy to talk too and great staff
Dr. Kashoqa is a wonderful and caring person. It took awhile for him to find correct medication for me, but he did. He alway listens and then advises. He has helped me for a long time through menopause problems, the sickness and death of my husband. He has never let me down. His staff makes you feel comfortable.
Terrible receptionist. Not worth the headache.
I saw Dr. Kashoqa for a number of years and he was unfailingly kind and patient. Ifelt he really cared about me.
