Change the prices please. Between rec.gov($10) and cochiti Pueblo pass ($92) its over 100$ for a family of 6 to visit. We used to love coming here but it's just too expensive now.
A slot canyon AND hoodoos? A hiking two-fer. A blend of Bryce and Antelope Canyon. We are 64 yo office workers with knees and ankles to match. Go early, double the expected time, poles recommended, and at least get to the trail warning sign. Steep to the top from there.
Great place “must visit” if you come to NM. The hike is short probably like 3.5 miles, but is steep with gravel and few rocky paths. It’s not ADA accesible. To go to the top, you need to be able to climb for a couple step ups; it’s beautiful if you choose not to go to the top and avoid those step ups. My sedan car did ok in the parking lot and road, so it should not be a problem. You need to reserve your visit ahead of time (2-3 weeks ahead) and pay your Pueblo fee, so two tickets.
