I wasn’t planning to write this review. Dr. Li gave me a partial refund for my EASE failure and I had accepted my losses, but he recently posted a lecture video that included my facial photos where he lied about my case. My EASE procedure failed because the TPD became disengaged/pushed into the bone less than 2 months after the procedure and it wasn’t caught, which was Li’s fault. Dr. Li performed a Maxomandibular advancement for sleep apnea over 10 years ago. Great surgeon. I don’t think anyone has done more MMAs than him. Cost me over $30,000 out of pocket for paying him which insurance would not cover. He said that the payment for that surgery that the insurance offers is about $1500 and so I understand he wouldn’t accept that for a four hour surgery. I think there was a guy at a teaching hospital that no longer works there – that could’ve done it without asking for any extra payment and just accep... read more
