Dr. Li performed a Maxomandibular advancement for sleep apnea over 10 years ago. Great surgeon. I don’t think anyone has done more MMAs than him. Cost me over $30,000 out of pocket for paying him which insurance would not cover. He said that the payment for that surgery that the insurance offers is about $1500 and so I understand he wouldn’t accept that for a four hour surgery. I am sharing my personal experience following EASE expansion with Dr. Kasey Li, which unfortunately did not meet expectations. Early in the expansion process, around the seventh turn, I noticed developing asymmetry and raised this concern directly with Dr. Li. Dr. Li stated that the asymmetry was pre-existing and did not recommend any change to the expansion plan. As expansion continued, the asymmetry became more noticeable.
