I am forced to find a new urologist- the ER staff at the hospital recommended I not go back to Dr Cockerill. Dr Cockerill's staff held a "teaching session" with me (unsupervised by the Dr) & not under the most sterile of conditions. I ended up in the ER with a bladder infection & also had to have the catheter replaced by the ER. The ER staff told me that the Foley catheter was clearly misplaced, as half of the baloon was in my bladder & half of it was in my urethra. I find Dr. Cockerill to demonstrate a kind and compassionate way of answering questions and giving easy to understand answers. She is a very impressive person in my mind.
