I am glad other patients found Dr. Shah helpful. She was not very knowledgeable about epilepsy and tended to dismiss symptoms and prescribe the wrong medications. I would try to get someone else if you have epilepsy...it's not her strong point.
Just wanted to drop a quick message, I live in the North East, it is difficult to find a quality doctor who is experienced wo Neurofibromatosis Type I, I saw you video intro with a patient, with an introduction by Doctor Thomas. the patient in question, a Ms. Hawkins is very lucky to have a quality team taking care of her. I work in the medical/ mental health field,
From the fort visit Dr. Shah made me feel very comfortable about being under her care. She's very knowledgeable, takes time to listen, and does everything to help you understand your diagnisis. She will really work to help you feel better.
Most disappointed. Staff is great however due to new automated phone system can be difficult to speak or get return calls. Dr was fine & had been patient for years til she decided to drop some patients. Assured me refills on meds I had been taking for years til I saw new dr. She did not & when I called month later for refill, I was told she expected me to have already seen a new dr. which was not possible nor was I told as normally I go every 6 mo unless new problem happens. Now I am stuck.
Dr. Shah was very unprofessional in my experience with her. She was unable to provide a diagnosis after only a couple of visits and then proceeded to look me in the eye and tell me that I would never get a diagnosis (even though I had abnormal tests) and I shouldn't expect to feel like I was 16 again (I'm 50). Very rude! She totally dismissed me. I left her office feeling completely hopeless. I did later find a doctor who would diagnose and treat me.
I have been a patient with Dr Shah for 20 years so that speaks volumes. She listens to you and is so concerned about the issues you may be having. You are treated like you are her only patient she does not rush you in and out. I would highly recommend this remarkable Doctor 100% Judith Darcy
Very friendly staff from front desk to nurses. Dr.Shah was professional, very thorough and knowledgeable. They focus on seeing patients on time and that helps with short or no wait times. Highly recommend.
Dr. Shah is thorough,courteous and concerned about her patients. Her staff works hard to make sure you are taken care of as well.
