Fine experience for my first service at a dealer (mainly for a semi-recall): Fast, cordial, thoroughly explained. The waiting area was exceptionally clean and quiet, with plenty of space to chill out, study, do any kind of work-related stuff to pass the time should one choose to wait. I had a great experience working with Mitch at Karp Kia. I brought my Kia in with a no-crank, no-start issue while the car was still under warranty. I had already narrowed the problem down to a bad starter, which is covered by Kia’s warranty. I was upfront with Mitch that I was not looking to pay for any repairs if their diagnosis pointed to something not covered. I have been servicing my Kia sportage at this Kia Service Dept. I have had the best experience!! My service advisor Mitch is wonderful, helpful and can’t do enough to make every visit worthwhile. I would highly recommend this service dept!!
3 months ago I took my car in to get an oil change, that was done quickly, but they discovered that I had a broken passenger window. After that was fixed, when I drove home I found my passenger door lock was broken. It wasn't broken when I brought it in. Why didn't they tell me that they did that. They could've fixed it. I just did it myself. But I will never come back to this service department again.
