I recently relocated to the Rainier area and was pleased to find a hair salon close to home. Although the decor is a little dated, the staff was friendly and my hair cut and perm were great. Prices were commensurate with other salons and I liked the personalized attention and quiet atmosphere.
When I was a teenager, I went to Karol Lee s to get my first hairdo. The treatment I got from them was so bad that they made me cry. The hair cut was ugly and the perm fell out quickly. Plus, since they must of thought they could get away with it, they charged me about triple the cost of a haircut. I have never set foot inside a beauty parlor since then.
