I stay at Karnes City Lodge about once a week for work, and it has been consistently excellent. The rooms are always very clean and well maintained. I really appreciate the layout—it feels more like a small apartment than a typical hotel room, with a kitchenette, a comfortable sitting area, and a separate bedroom space that adds a nice sense of privacy. Amazing! I was having a tough situation and I came across this hotel which was very welcoming, I went there to pickup my husband from the detention center, and with then transformed into a full vacation experience. Had lots of fun, met incredible people thanks to Neil who made my stay at Karnes so much better, the hotel is very clean, calm and very spacious!! Recommend 100% I even want to go back there !

I came to visit my husband while he’s working out here, and we had such an amazing experience. The hotel feels brand new and is incredibly clean. We stayed in a double room that was surprisingly spacious — it had a large sofa, a separate loveseat, and a generous kitchenette area. There were even two TVs, which was perfect with kids. I traveled with my three children, and we felt so comfortable the entire stay. The room had more than enough space for all of us to relax without feeling crowded.
