I can't say enough good things about Dr. Young and Karma Dental! My 4-year-old son had an unexpected dental emergency and needed a tooth extraction. As any parent would, I was nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Young was absolutely incredible. She was so kind and patient with my son, explaining everything in a way he could understand - gentle, professional, and caring. I've been to a number of dentists in Vancouver over the years, with mixed results. I've been going to Karma for a few years now, and I can say, without a doubt, that Dr. Young and her team are the best, not to mention the kindest and most empathetic, dental professionals I've seen. They actually make going to the dentist a pleasure, and my teeth have never looked so good.

I loved going here. As a person with ptsd, severe anxiety and who doesn’t do well in new places this place is amazing. The staff are all very friendly, caring and supportive. The best thing is they actually listen to what you need to help you feel comfortable. They one work on one person at a time so you don’t have to worry about the other noise or people around and you are in your own room so you feel more safe. This is the only place I will ever go for my dental work from now on and will recommend for anyone that has anxie... read more

Dr. Joyce Chan is an excellent dentist who runs a very good practice and clinic. The space is impeccable and the staff absolutely wonderful (Em and Elle). I have been seeing her for close to a year now and am extremely satisfied with the level of care I have received at each visit. I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted (a procedure I was a bit nervous about) but I was amazed at how quickly I recovered despite one tooth being a rather atypical extraction.
