I took two IBM Selectric typewriters to Rick for refurbishing. They both look and work like new. While there he had a pink Olympic typewriter on display. So I ordered two for my granddaughters as Christmas presents. They absolutely love them. Their older sister liked them and asked for one. Hers is orchid and she loves i,. as orchid is her favorite color.
We first went to Karl's to have our IBM Selectric fixed. Rick did a great job. So, we took our second IBM to be refurbished. He did a great job again. In his shop, he had pink Olympic typewriters on display. so we ordered two for our granddaughters as Christmas presents. They look and work great. Our granddaughters' older sister liked them so much that she asked for one which was done in orchid. Looks fabulous. We highly recommend Karl's.
I purchased a vintage typewriter form Rick and couldn't be happier. He gave me advice as to which brand would be best and I picked the color which was mint green! He was so amazing to work with and gave me updates to when it would be ready since it was custom done. It was well worth the wait and it was packaged so well and the shipping was so affordable!! I can't say enough about Rick and his excellent work and of course his passion for what he does. It was a pleasure doing business with him!
