Months ago, I scheduled a trim and a blowout at 11am. I have a meeting this week and wanted to feel polished. The salon called me the day before my appointment (after texting me to confirm) to change the appointment to 1:30pm, saying the stylist couldn’t come in earlier. Went in for a balayage came out with small accent blonde highlights. So disappointed spent 7 hours in a chair to receive nothing even close to the photos I showed
I saw Suzanne at Karisma and she do an absolutely amazing job! I had my roots done, highlights, cut and blowout and I left there feeling amazing! She was so knowledgeable and walked me through what she was doing. I have been searching for a hairdresser in the Smithtown area for a while now and I am so happy I found her! I will absolutely be back!
The most important reason for my 1-star rating is the staff’s behavior. I experienced what felt like discriminatory treatment and a clear change in attitude once I mentioned that I had purchased the service through Groupon. Before I said I had a Groupon voucher, I was told there was availability. However, as soon as I mentioned Groupon, the staff member’s facial expression changed noticeably.
