Mere words cannot describe the awe in which I hold the nurses and doctors in the palliative care unit. The care and compassion shown to my father (who sadly passed today) was extraordinary to witness. From conversations with nurses and doctors it was apparent they all had a great passion for what they do and consider it an honour to care for people’s loved ones during their remaining time here.
