Dr. Virley is the rudest doctor I have ever met. She has no "bedside" manner. She has no manners at all. She is argumentative, questioning every fact I gave her about myself. I brought her medical records and medications as was requested by her front office. When I went to give them to her she snapped at me asking what they were. I told her and she said she did not need them as all information was already in the computer. As I said - rude, nasty, no personality, abrasive. Never going back.
Be aware when using this doctor. My cousin has been enduring many different painful symptoms for a few years now. She's had every test, exam & scan you can imagine, & doctors still can't pin down what disease or specific problem she has. It started looking like she more than likely was exhibiting signs of an auto-immune disease, quite possibly rheumatoid arthritis or lupus, but Dr Virley would NOT give my cousin a referral to a specialist in order to find out!!! Disgraceful malpractice!
Honestly, I'm a little in shock. These reviews aren't for the Dr. Virley I know. I searched high and low for a doctor who would actually listen to me and work with my other health care professionals who were helping me to get my thyroid under control and help me to lose weight. She's always taken her time with me and been incredibly thorough. She's been funny, reassuring and patient. She's absolutely a person who uses her time wisely, she even uses a rolling cart to keep her lap top on the move
Its been most of my experience that my problems with my healthcare was NOT my doctor but my insurance. I feel this doctor is very professional and thorough which means she doesn't miss anything. She caught things I wasn't going to even mention in a specific visit. I find this in a doctor very much more important than bedside manner.
Horrible bed-side manners. She is cold and not nurturing at all. Instead of discussing solutions, she tries to discipline you, which makes you feel hopeless.
Terrible experience. Staff lied. Doctor didn't do anything.
