She did a good job.
Karen is so sweet. I am not a cake person whatsoever, I usually do a cookie cake for my birthday every year, but the sweet potato kake was ridiculously good, moist, and flavorful. I will not be doing a cookie cake this year after all it seems.
The sweet potato pound cake, strawberry shortcake, caramel banana pudding and cookies & cream cake were all delicious
i stopped by after leaving the DMV, i figured i deserved a treat for going there. first off, the decor and vibes are great and Karen was super welcoming! i got a slice of the red velvet cake and OMG its so scrumptious!!! i WILL be coming back for more of Karens Kakes!
The cake cups are spectacular. I haven't tried very much else from here, but I wanted to write a review anyways. The frosting specifically is about as perfect as frosting can get, typically I like sweeter things but the frosting is a perfect middle between sweetness and what my mom would describe as "not too sweet", and it goes so well with the cake. I've suggested it to a bunch of my friends already.
