I knew Karen was the right fit for my case within the first few minutes of our consultation. She's very smart, strategic, and a great communicator. Leading up to and throughout a 10 hour mediation, she was with me 100%. (The mediating judge told me several times what a great lawyer I had.) Ms. Robbins was the court appointed children's attorney for my 4 children. An appointment you never want and wish you did not need. Ms. Robbins built a trust with my children, fought diligently for them and learned about their mental health and disabilities to enable her to advocate for their best interests. For the last two years I worked with Ms. Karen Robbins. She was the court appointed lawyer for a family that I worked with as the mental health counselor attempting reunification with the family members. Throughout the years I have worked with multiple lawyers in state and out of state. Miss Robbins was responsive and I watched her as she worked. She genuinely cared for these children and the family. Our experience with Ms. Robbins was regretful. Her availability is limited, her ability to help draw conclusions is finite and she is unprofessional. Both my former wife and I agree that she was a mistake to hire. Despite our points of friction working through the aftermath of a divorce, I found myself defending my former wife to Karen multiple times. Ms. Robbins is unprofessional. I cannot say it enough. Consumer beware: Find someone else!
