Karen was extremely uncaring, inattentive, unprofessional in my divorce case. She gave advice that has put me in a horrible financial position. I went through several mediations with her. She did not prepare one proposal. She let the opposing attorney do all the work. She did not fight for anything on my behalf. She never returned my calls. This Karen is a worse person than she is a lawyer. I would consult with her before you file, so you don’t have an ex-spouse subject you to her presence on a regular basis. Here’s a classic Steger move…show up late for a zoom call with the judge and then finally call in with the tennis court in the background. I wish that was an exaggeration, lmao!
