Thank god for Virginias one party recording state laws! Protect yourself when doctors try to force incorrect treatment down your throat!!! If you get Karen O’Brien as your doctor at Augusta ED, check out and ask for someone else, she will refuse to treat YOU… despite explaining that if I don’t get treatment and am able to return to work I will lose my car, house, pets, and have to live on the street… and came in because I was unable to stop using the bathroom on myself, she still wants to accuse me of drug seeking. Went there with family and she was so rude we thought she was kidding at first… suggested my family member was faking his disability for medications he has spent his entire life refusing to take… His first time asking for a medication in 7 months of being confined to his bed and was treated like a druggie. As a family member my biggest regret currently is letting this lady speak to him at all!
She is quick, efficient and very friendly. Wish she had a practice.
