Dr. Iris spent so much time with me, was so thorough and knowledgeable it was incredible.
My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Iris for a neurology evaluation recently. She was AMAZING! We had seen 3 neurology physicians prior and not only were the history taking and exams lacking, but they had no idea of what the diagnosis might be and relied 100% on a brain MRI. Dr. Iris did a thorough history and neurology exam. She ordered pertinent tests and consulted afterwards with a nero-radiologist to confirm her thoughts and differential diagnosis. I have found so much relief from my chronic migraines with Iris as my provider. She is kind, knowledgeable, and an amazing advocate for her patients. After driving to Phoenix for a couple of years to see a neurologist that didn’t listen to me, I’m so grateful Iris is located in Flagstaff and has outstanding outside-the-box thinking. She is exactly who I was looking for and I’m glad to have found her.
I think Iris is incompetent. I made an appointment to see her because my husband has dementia. She sent me to a place to get an MRI and that place was incredibly unprofessional. We then set up a following phone call to discuss the MRI. She was almost 20 minutes late for the phone call did not notify me in anyway. Finally, when we had the phone call, she didn’t know who I was or why I was calling even though I was on her appointment book. Iris is terrific and Nancy the receptionist is incredibly helpful. Most caring neurological provider I've had in decades. Works with me even though I'm 3+ hours away.
