My feelings have never been clearer about Karen Nakagawa only in it for the money. When we hired her to be the underage children’s lawyer it was the biggest mistake of my life. She did not care for what was best for the children. The only way to get her off as the lawyer for the children was the judge had to dismiss her which he did in the first five minutes of the court hearing and then he fired all the other lawyers she hired with the kid's money that they had to pay for. She is a bad lawyer in my opinion do not hire her!
I had the pleasure of working with Karen after experiencing some frustrations with other attorneys who just weren’t keeping up. Karen was a complete game-changer! She was highly responsive, professional, and thoroughly knowledgeable about the details of my case. She handled everything with great attention to detail and finalized my case efficiently and professionally. I’m so glad I chose Karen to take over, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again for any future legal matters.
I was the God Parent for 3 kids who had just lost their mother when I was introduced to Karen Nakagawa from the Estate lawyer David Lyons (check out his reviews 1 Star) who told us to hire her as the guardian Ad litem for the kids. Long story short we could not get here to do the right thing for the kids all she was interested in doing was keeping the billing hours rolling and hiring more attorneys. Luckily, we challenged her, and the Judge actually used the words You are Fired!!
Ms. Nakagawa refused to complete the work she originally agreed to do, leaving me scrambling to find another attorney. Would not recommend her at all.
Karen is a wonderfully knowledgeable and effective attorney. I chose her to handle an estate resolution based upon the recommendation of a friend’s lawyer. All the way through a lengthy process, she responded in the most efficient and helpful ways, saving me time, money and—most importantly—energy in every step of a legal situation that turned out to be far more complicated than I could ever have anticipated. I’m grateful to her…and recommend her to friends on a regular basis.
