This was my first visit and it was great. First, the scheduling was simple. I did it a couple months out and that is typical for a specialist. The staff was kind, I didn’t have to wait, and Dr Chang Chen addressed all my concerns and explained things in a way I understand. She was quick and thorough but also personable, respectful and caring. At the end she provided specific instructions and offered open door if I need follow up. The office manager and receptionist at this endocrinologist’s office would not allow a consultation appointment to be scheduled for a patient because the doctor, “does not deal with hormones.” Stating this is what the Dr. Chang-Chen has told them to say. This is very unprofessional and he wrong thing to say to someone requesting an appointment with an ENDOCRINOLOGIST! I wish more stars were possible. If you're wanting a smart, compassionate, and knowledgeable endocrinologist, look no further. I have recommended Dr. Chang-Chen to numerous people, and they are all very happy with the care they receive from her. She has a wonderful staff too, which is very important.
