We took in our anxious puppy last night—to the Westside animal emergency clinic — he had swallowed a button battery. We interacted with 4 staff members— 2 administrative who took care of the payments keeping us updated of the costs. The other 2 vets were experts. One perhaps the assistant carried him in and the vet in charge made the simplest and least traumatic and least expensive decision-to just give him an emetic! They could easily have run up our tab by doing X-rays etc but this decision delivered the outcome desired an... read more
Our 13 year old lab took a turn for the worst and we brought him here. The doctor agreed that with his age and size, it was best to help him cross the rainbow bridge. The staff was professional, empathetic, and amazingly sensitive with our family. I can't thank you enough for your kindness and sweet gestures as we made this difficult decision and giving us so much time to say goodbye without feeling rushed. I would recommend y'all to anyone.
My dog has laryngeal paralysis and had an attach where he couldn’t breathe. They stabilized him and saved his life. Everyone in there, the receptionist to the Vet, was so very kind and patient at such a very scary and hard time. I’m so very grateful for them. Thank you!!
I brought my chihuahua here last night. I was under no illusion it would be cheap, bc no animal er ever is. I was just thankful that there was a place I could bring my dog that could treat her. In addition, every person I had contact with was authentically friendly. I think their positivity makes a big difference during a scary time. I hope anyone reading this never has to come to an animal er, however if you do thie is one I recommend w/o hesitation. My dog went in for shortness of breath and was in a room for an hour with no vitals taken. I took her to another vet er and it was too late, her heart stopped and she died!! Take your dog elsewhere if you want them to live!!
