We unfortunately had to take our 16 year old Doxie in for euthanasia due to decline following a cancer diagnosis. The staff was compassionate and fast acting and supportive and compassionate while navigating this heart breaking decision. I brought both of my dogs to be taken care of due to being attacked. I met with the young man that checked us in and the doctor. Even though no receptionist- they both attended to my dogs. I was given 2 bills to help my dogs, one for $4000 and the other $1400. Paid the lesser bill, but they were made comfortable and medicated until seen by their own Vet.

My visit to westside animal emergency clinic was one of heart break as we were experiencing our last day with our cat of 18 years Buster. The clinic was extremmely considerate and compassionate and accommodating in our time of need and made what was a very heartbreaking experience one that left us knowing that the employees actually cared and were sympathizing with us for our loss. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants truly compassionate animal lovers to help them with their beloved pets.

I felt that the pricing was unreasonable and, although I understand that emergency after-hours veterinary services are typically more expensive, I believe it is unfair to take advantage of customers due to a lack of alternative vets in the area. This is particularly concerning when considering that your clinic attempted to charge me $2000 for a service that my regular veterinarian provided for $200. I appreciated the care & concern from the staff when my dog developed pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized overnight. The communication from Dr Barnes and the staff was great. They were very good to my little old man and he is recovering well.
