My experience with this doctor was profoundly disrespectful and disregarding to patients care. I lost my hearing when I was a child, had to have multiple surgeries on my ears and succumbed to hearing loss. This audiologist not only told me verbatim that I was faking my hearing test and told me I have normal hearing with no hearing loss. Never have I ever been told that before since getting hearing tests done since I was a child. If I was truly faking a hearing loss, I would not have had multiple surgeries for cholesteatoma. ... read more
Dr. Altschuld has given me the gift of my hearing back! It is so refreshing to not have to ask people to repeat themselves numerous times or nod along and pretend like you heard what was being said. She matched me to a wonderful pair of hearing aids that have provided clarity and comfort. She was also able to "tweek" the software to adjust to a particular environment where the hearing aids were too loud for me. She makes herself available if you have any questions or concerns. I HIGHLY recommend her.

I have had multiple interactions with Karen. This is a very unprofessional person. Proceeding to incorrectly inform me about my own insurance, who thought that it was funny to ask a coworker of hers if I was crying behind a door, thinking I could not hear her.
